First we have the basic information . This your first step into making your character and very simple. You should not have a hard time with this at all. I mean this is basic.

Name: <----This is where you will put your character full name. I prefer if you will put your Last Name, First Name, MI. This will make it look like a legit application.
Nickname/Alias: <-----This is a name that your character had earn or calls him self. You can earn a nickname at in time while role playing. I want you to remember no one from another village knows each other name. That's unless you made into the bingo book , then that means it's a bounty on your head and everyone knows your name.
Age: <-----I seen a problem where characters like to be extremely young for their age so I'm going to fix that. All Genin must be at least 12 and I don't want to see any genin above 16. I once see a 37 year old genin. I thought it was funny but please don't pull any of that mess. Also Chuunin will be from the ages of 16 and 18. Jounin will be at least 19 to 25. Sannin and kages must be over 25, at each rank up your age changes as well.
Gender: <---- Not too much to say about this what gender are you male or female. No you can't be a tyranny or both.
Looks:<--If you would like to post a picture please include 2 paragraph's
talking about your char's looks. If no picture is provided then please
give more than 2 paragraph's explaining your looks. Please talk about clothing , tattoos, Jewry, and any other thing that make your character stick out there.

Personality:<---What is your character. This section should be at least 2 full paragraph's please do not make your character personality then make your character act a whole different way once you start role playing.
Likes & Dislikes: <-----What does your character like and dislike?
Catch Phrase:<---- Does your character have any catch phrase's?

Clan Name: <---What is your clans name?
Kekkei Genkai: <---What is your clan's set of abilities?
Clan Symbol: <--Does your clan have a symbol to represent it?
Clan Jutsu: <--Your clan's secret jutsu. If any.
Clan History: <---History of your clan

Please have your clan approved before you make your character and jutsu as well. This will speed up the process.

Village: <---Ruai and Nami are our two villages please pick between them two.
Village Rank: <---- We are only taking genin at the moment, unless you have permission for staff for a higher rank position.
Skill Rank: C-Rank is the only rank we are allowing at the moment.

Skill Specialty:
Main: <---You main skill is the one you start out with. This will also be you strongest. You will be able to gain an S-rank jutsu once you become the require rank need to obtain it.
Sub:<--- Most sites do not do this but as Genin you are allowed a second skill allowing you to have a main skill and a skill you are training to master. Untill you completely master the Skill you are only allowed B-Rank jutsu in this area. Once master then you may gain an A rank. By choosing to keep training it you can make it into another main skill.

Elemental Affinity:
Main:<---- At the genin level you are only allowed one element , unless you have a bijuu (then you gain all elements your bijuu have) or you have a a clan that requires more then one element to make the clan element such as Ice (wind and water).
Sub:<---You must train to gain another element after you pass the chuunin exams. After that you will need to make a training topic where you gain your second element. After Chuunin then is jounin and so on.

Special Characteristics: What make your character stands out.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Must Balance out your strengths.

Tactic Specialty:(a shinobi can use his tactic specialty one time in each battle, this used to his adavantge. He can combined two attacks to catch his opponet off guard.

Name: <----Name of weapon or item
Appearance:<-----A picture or brief description of the object.
Rank: <----What rank would this be classified as? (with only genin allowed weapons must be C-ranked)
Special Abilities: <---What abilities does this have? It can be none
Origin: <---Where does this weapon come from? Why does your char have it? It dosen't have to be long just tell us how you got it.

Guide to Ranks

E-D Rank

Unfortunately, Naruto Universe no longer allows the creation of Academy Students, or any E or D ranked characters. So, you instead skip straight to Genin; C rank.

C Rank

Genin: When an academy student graduates from the Ninja Academy, villages will recognize that graduate as a Genin. Genin are not very powerful and do not hold much sway in the events of the world, but they also have the least amount of responsibility in village actions. These Genins usually will be assigned a Jounin sensei, who will monitor their progress and help push for mission assignments benefiting their skill level. In order to acquire Chuunin rank, they can the Chuunin Exams of a village.

C-Rank Wanderer: A Genin who has no affiliation to any one village, and instead travels from place to place on their own power is known as a Wanderer. They need permission from their village leader in order to do this, however, and then they will become Wanderers. It may be hard to find a good living without settling down, and may even be trying at C Rank. Wanderers are banned from taking Chuunin Exams until registered to a village.

C-Rank Missing-Nin: A C-Rank Missing-nin, or missing ninja, is similar to a Wanderer, but has one distinct difference. They have not received permission to leave their village, and thereby become a criminal. It can also include people born and raised outside the village. The Missing ninja is often alone, unless they are welcome in villages they are not part of, or with other missing ninja. The Missing Ninja who takes a negative path may be hunted down or otherwise captured or killed. Even good or nuetral missing ninja may share the fate, as often times people are afraid or intimidated by those who follow no rules except the ones they set for themselves. The missing ninja follows their own path, for their own reasons, in their own way, as they see fit.

B Rank

Chuunin: Chuunin are made up of Genin who have passed the Chuunin exam by exhibiting leadership and excellent combat sense. Genin can either win or lose the last Chuunin Exam test. If they show sufficient qualities becoming of a Chuunin, they can be appointed and officially become Chuunin. Chuunin have the equivalent rank of military captain, exhibiting strong stamina, knowledge and inner wisdom. They are said to have the perfect balance between power and responsibility. There can be Jounin exams that they may take on by themselves or with others, or given the rank by merit from the Village Leader.

B-Rank Wanderer: A Chuunin who has no affiliation to any one village, and instead travels from place to place on their own power is known as a Wanderer. They need permission from their village leader in order to do this, however, and then they will become Wanderers. It may be hard to find a good living without settling down. Wanderers are banned from taking Jounin Exams until registered to a village.

B-Rank Missing-Nin: A B-Rank Missing-nin, or missing ninja, is similar to a Wanderer, but has one distinct difference. This is dangerous at such a low rank as B, but not impossible.

A Rank

Jounin: After Chuunin become Jounin, these highly skilled ninjas normally serve as squad leaders on mission assignments. They have great efficiency and skill in most fields, making them important figures in the village. Jounins are allowed to take up students, and train them as they see fit to prepare them for the real world, or at least the Chuunin Exams. At this point, though, one will have enough power and influence in the ninja world to make their own decisions and their own plans.

A-Rank Wanderer: A Jounin who has no affiliation to any one village, and instead travels from place to place on their own power is known as a Wanderer. They need permission from their village leader in order to do this, however, and then they will become Wanderers. It may be hard to find a good living without settling down. At this rank, a wanderer may find it easier to go in and out villages and even influence them.

A-Rank Missing-Nin: An A-Rank Missing-nin, or missing ninja, is similar to a Wanderer, but has one distinct difference. At this rank, a Missing-Nin truly becomes a threat to villages and other law enforcers, so they will have to watch their backs at all times. .

S Rank

Shunin [S Rank Ninja]: If a shinobi remains long enough in a village and achieves the Rank of S, yet is not a leader, the village recognizes them as a Shunin. They have reached the peak of their power and are capable of becoming Kages, Organization Leaders, or Other Leaders. They can also act as high leveled Jounins, taking on students. Usually, this implies a lot of responsibility, mostly directly from the village leader.

S-Rank Wanderer: A Shunin who has no affiliation to any one village, and instead travels from place to place on their own power is known as a Wanderer. They need permission from their village leader in order to do this, however, and then they will become Wanderers. It may be hard to find a good living without settling down. At this rank, a wanderer may find it easier to go in and out villages and even influence them.

S-Rank Missing-Nin: An S-Rank Missing-nin, or missing ninja, is similar to a Wanderer, but has one distinct difference. At this rank, a Missing-Nin is one of the most dangerous threats to a village, so they will have to watch their backs at all times.

SS Rank

SS Rank Shinobi are only achieved by S Ranked ninjas who become the leader of a village or organization. There is no bonus in SS Rank in itself, and is just the name of a rank. The only special title in this section is Kage, and all others are just leaders.

Kage: The Kage (Shadow) represents the head of each Hidden Village. Only one of the Great Shinobi Countries are allowed to call their head ninja by the Kage name. The Kage serves as the pillar upon which the village stands and the strength a village presents to the other ninja countries largely depends upon the strength of the Kage in power. When one kage decides to step down from the position, a new Kage is nominated and then approved by the Village Council.

Guide to Elements

Lightning - Earth - Water - Fire - Wind (In order from left to right).

In the world of naruto, and more specifically Naruto Universe, there are five primary elements. If you are familiar with the laws of Naruto, you will already know that they are ‘Lightning, Earth, Water, Fire and Wind’. Here is a brief explanation of each of them.

Lightning - Raiton: The first thing that comes to mind is ‘electricity’. In the most basic forms, Lightning can be used to harness the destructive power of electricity. However, there are more subtle ways of manipulation that can have many more interesting qualities. Neurological and electromagnetic abilities can also be controlled with more focused electrical bursts. Another aspect of the lightning element is polarity, and the electrical properties are necessary in many chemical reactions. Again, in it’s most basic forms, lightning is considered strong against earth, and weak against wind.

Earth - Doton: The earth element is known for its ability to manipulate well… earth. Of the elements it is probably the most straight forward, however being the most physically bound. Density, size and other physical traits of objects and substance are best manipulated with the earth element. Creation of matter and most organic material will most require the properties of the Earth element. Other forms of ‘earth’ include dust, sand, stone, clay, dirt, and other minerals. Weak against lightning, while strong against water.

Water - Suiton: Water is known for control and manipulation of most liquids, not just H2O. Such moisture is not only found in beds or bodies of water but can also gathered from the moisture in the air or in the ground. Water is also a main solvent in many chemical reactive compounds and found in most if not all living things. The water element is also a key to any form of weather manipulation. Most any substances that are a majority water can be manipulated with it, however other forms of water manipulation include mist or mud compounds. Weak to earth and strong against fire.

Fire - Katon: Fire is what is considered the most chaotic and destructive of the elements. Because of not only its beauty but its power it is considered one of the most popular of elements in the naruto community. In most cases, it is only seen in it’s pure, firey projectile form, and variations there of. However, more focuses and control fire can be agents of friction, heat( and by heat I mean energy) and ultimately temperature control. Fire is also a chief component in chemical reactions that require certain temperatures, or melting/boiling points. But who am I trying to kid, you just wanna shoot fire out of your mouth right!? Weak to fire and strong against wind.

Wind - Fuuton: The element of Naruto himself, wind is in it’s most basic form in control of the force of nature wind itself. Wind being the movement of air bound particles via fluctuations in pressure, the wind element has potential to monitor and control pressure, particle movement such as vibrations and more commonly, sound. It is also known for it’s ability to cut and pierce. One feature of the wind element is its ability to specifically shape objects and substances. Without the wind element, full control of the advanced elements such as ice or sand are impossible because of this. Weak against Fire, Strong against Lightning.

Element Effectiveness

Like stated in the element descriptions, each basic element has one weakness and one strength. All advanced clan elements composed of two basic elements also have one weakness and one strength, unless stated otherwise in a clan application. When an element is considered strong against another, it gets a 50% total power boost over it; this makes so that if the two were equal rank, the element with the advantage would win, yet if it were one rank below, then the higher ranked one would win (Technique power doubles or even triples with each rank boost, so a 50% is not enough to overcome that). For the basic elements, it goes like this:

Lightning blasts through Earth.
Earth rolls through Water.
Water puts out Fire.
Fire eats up Wind.
Wind distorts Lightning.

Advanced Elements

Though the basic elements have plenty of potential and power of their own, sometimes you need a touch that not just one element can handle or is handled more specifically by two properties of separate elements. In this case, what you may be wanting is an ‘Advanced Element’.

Advanced Elements are elements that involve the traits or properties of two elements. Here on Naruto Universe, any idea for an Advanced Element must be submitted via Kekkei Genkai of the Clan section of your Character Application or of your Clan Application. To make your advanced element as legit as possible, explain in the Kekkei Genkai section how the two elements come together to form the third element. (Note: this is the only way a third element may be acquired.)

As an example, the Senju clan has the capability to use the Wood element, as a combination of Earth and Water. The Physical properties of Earth are combined with the life-giving properties of Water to create both the physical and reactionary properties need to manipulate Wood. Here are the Skill Information sections of a Genin Senju, and a Chuunin Senju.

Genin Senju wrote:
Skill Information:
Skill Specialty:
-Main: Ninjutsu
-Sub: Fuuinjutsu
Elemental Affinity:
-Main: Water
-Sub: Wood
...

In place of water, this Genin can put Earth, but not both Water and Earth; You are still limited to one basic element. But the main part here is that the advanced element is like a free extra.

Chuunin Senju wrote:
Skill Information:
Skill Specialty:
-Main: Ninjutsu
-Sub: Fuuinjutsu
Elemental Affinity:
-Main: Water
-Sub: Earth
-Sub: Wood
...

Here, this Chuunin has the capability of having two basic elements; however, they must be the base elements of the advanced element, Wood. You MUST choose the correct elements, or you may not have your advanced element.

An Advanced Element is considered Independent of it’s two counter parts. If you have the ability to control Ice, that doesn’t necessarily give you power over it’s Wind and Water counter parts. Remember to check the clan’s list in the Clan Creation section to make sure that your specific idea hasn’t been done before. You have free range to create your own KKG Advanced elements, however remember that any and all Advance Elements must be approved in the Clan application first. An Administrator is recommended to check advanced elements. In most cases, if as long as you are logical and reasonable, you should have no problem with this part.

Guide to Specialties

Specialties

Specialties are for all intents and purposes the focus of a ninja’s career. All of their hard work and time goes into advancing their specialty as far as they can take it. These range from the tried and true ninjutsu specialist, to the highly advanced and revered fuinjutsu master. While these overall don’t change the strength of a character, they increase their skill set and potentially open a whole new slew of techniques and strategies for them to use as their character progresses.

Ninjutsu – A rather basic specialty of the ninja world. Ninjutsu are everywhere as they are ‘ninja techniques’. Ninjutsu range from simple distraction measures, aka Bunshin no Jutsu, to wide scale destruction, aka Shinra Tensei. Ninjutsu at its base is open for creation for any user however those who do not specialize in it are only allowed techniques to two ranks below their current rank (excluding the genin and chuunin ranks from this). Specializing in Ninjutsu grants the user the perk of creating their own ninjutsu. Users with this specialty can use Ninjutsu techniques up to their rank.

Genjutsu – A rather basic specialty of the ninja world. Genjutsu specialist are just about as frequent as Fuinjutsu masters, however the art of illusion weaving is still a complex and dangerous mental art, because of this non Genjutsu specialists may only learn basic D-ranked genjutsu as well as the standard Henge due to the high mental focus required. They may however learn the Kai Technique up to a rank below them overtime with intense training. [See Genjutsu Guide for Further Details]

Taijutsu – A rather basic specialty of the ninja world. Every ninja learns Taijutsu at some point in their life, as the art of hand to hand combat comes standard with the territory. There are others however who feel the call and drive to go above and beyond the simple stances of the academy, and develop their own way. These are the Taijutsu specialist, the masters of the body. Training in the art of combat since they could walk these literal warriors of the fist have the physical fortitude to withstand most physical punishment anyone can dish out due to their intense physical training. They may create and teach their own fighting style to anyone they please. Only taijutsu specialist may create their own styles at Chuunin and teach them to others once they have achieved the rank of Jounin (Real Life styles, and canon styles are excluded from this).

Puppetry – This specialty is usually only found used by those with a talent for design and engineering. Those with this specialty use chakra strings to seemingly give life to their carefully created puppets. It is considered a high art form and many consider those with skills to be quite talented in the field of chakra control and poison crafting. Many with this specialty pair it with Eijutsu to gain a deeper understanding of the human body and the poisons they wield against their opponents, though there are rumors of some instead using Fuuinjutsu to store devastating traps within the seals.

Bukijutsu – Bukijutsu is the more universal use of weapons. With this specialty, ninjas are able to fight on and off with most all weapons at varied, if not advanced, skill levels. In order to put this into a canon sense, this would be the specialty that Tenten uses; this is the specialty that involves whipping out numerous weapons with a masterful hand, and throwing or using them as you wish. Most ninja of this specialty use scrolls to hold the numerous weapons that they may carry, however this is not always the case, and they may hold the weapons on their person. Bukijutsu users often specialize in a number of weapon types equal to their rank. (Genin get 1 Weapon type, Chuunin get 2 weapon types, and Jounin get 3 weapon types to specialize in)
Weapon Types:

-Swords (Knives, Katanas, Claymores, etc.)
-Polearms (Axes, Spears, Naginata, etc.)
-Chain Weapons (Flails, Chain Whips, Dart Knives, etc.)
-Projectiles (Boomerangs, Bows and Arrows, Blowguns, etc.)
-Clubs (Tonfas, Tetsubos, etc)

Fuuinjutsu – These masters of the scribe are some of the most elusive members of the ninja society, often spending months or years creating new and deadly Fuinjutsu techniques for the world to use. Fuuinjutsu are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object. Fuuinjutsu can also be used to unseal objects either from within something or someone.

Eijutsu – Medical Ninjutsu is an advanced healing art, only available to chuunin ninja due to the large chakra control requirement. Medical Ninjutsu also requires an intense amount of healing knowledge as well as mental fortitude. Because of this only Ninjutsu Specialist, Genjutsu Specialist and Puppeteers may learn Medical Ninjutsu. At Jounin Medical Ninjutsu is open for specialization. The specialties for Medical Ninjutsu are Combat Medic, and Surgeon, among other things.

------------------------------------

When do I get more Specialties?

Requirements:

Genin = First/Second Specialty
Jounin = Potential for 3rd Specialty [See Special Characteristics]

Special Characteristics

What are Special Characteristics?

Like being a member of a Clan or not can define your identity, the elements and specialties you wield can define your identity and your personality and looks can, the Special Characteristics are what Defines who you are as a Shinobi in more ways then one. Special Characteristics may define your true specialties, meaning these go hand in hand with the Shinobi Specialization. Now, these Characteristics can be achieved when you rank up, meaning the first Characteristic gained at the rank of Genin is free. Now, enough about the introductions, and on to the actual Characteristics.

When do I get my Characteristics?

Genin = 1 C ranked Characteristic granted
Chuunin = 1 B ranked Characteristic granted
Jounin = 1 A ranked Characteristic granted
S/Kage = 1 S ranked Characteristic granted

Why are there different ranks to my Special Characteristics?

As you move up through the Ranks of your village, you will be able to learn much more, while you can also proceed to perfecting and mastering certain skills and specialties. To make things easier for you, I wrote down some of the many things you could do with these differently ranked special Characteristics below. Do keep in mind that if you want to increase your physical speed, strength, endurance or reflexes, you will have to follow the Set Amounts gives below. Also, these Physical enhancements are limited to 2 per character, and you may not exceed this amount.

C rank: As the lowest of the characteristics, you may choose to increase one of your physical attributes with 5%, while you may also choose something along the lines of a certain basic knowledge in one area of life, increased hearing or having a second personality. Keep in mind that these are just examples, and you are allowed to make something of your own, but follow these guidelines, since C ranked characteristics are meant to be much, much weaker then those of higher ranks, and moderators will treat them as such.

B rank: As you make your way to the rank of Chuunin, you may choose to increase one of your attributes to 10%, while you may also choose something along the lines of One Handed Seals, accuracy with weapons or enhanced Chakra control. Due to the B ranked Characteristics being much more advanced, you need to make sure that you have the right Specialty, since people without a bukijutsu or kenjutsu specialty will not get increased accuracy with weapons.

A rank: As you reach the rank of Jounin, you may choose to increase one of your attributes to 20%, while you may also choose yet another more advanced skill such as greater control over a specific element, an additional element, easy adaption or knowledge of elements or weapons. As goes for the other characteristics, you need to have an appropriate specialty if you want something like greater elemental control or knowledge, though this speaks for itself. An Additional element requires the Elementalist specialty, while you also can only use jutsu of this ranks of 1 rank below your own, and can not fully master is as you would with your other elements, meaning possible boosts you would get do not function for this new element.

S rank: Congratulations, you reached the highest possible rank and can get the strongest characteristics now. As such, you may choose to boost one of your attributes to 30%, while you can also choose to get something like enhanced genetics, a Kekkei Genkai variant or an enhancement of one of your elements, though these follow certain guidelines. An additional Kekkei Genkai usually only goes for those who do not have a Clan, though in some cases, it is allowed when an Admin says it is okay.

Additional | Important

No Kekkei Tota: If you picked the "Extra Element" and the "Kekkei Genkai" Characteristic options, this does not mean you can use said elements to create a Kekkei Tota with your basic elements. You are allowed to make something like a Second Advanced element, but please read the rules for that below.

Second Advanced Element: If you picked the "Extra element" and the "Kekkei Genkai" Characteristic options, you may make a second Advanced Element, but only if you ask an Admin for permission first. This Advanced element will not be weakened, but it will not get any boosts from the Elementalist or Specialization perks either. Go about this wisely, since it is a permission, and when abused, it can be taken away. Mokuton can not be created this way.

Second Kekkei Genkai: If you have a Kekkei Genkai such as the Kaguya already, and wish to add something like an Advanced element, this is allowed, though it does follow the rules of the Advanced Element Characteristic stated above this one. If you want to make another physical manipulation Kekkei Genkai, you will need to ask an Admin for permission first.

Clanless Extra: As a Clanless Shinobi, you gain one Extra Special Characteristic which ranks up with you, meaning it will always have the same Rank as you. This is to make up for the lack of a Kekkei Genkai, and making it more rewarding for those who have chosen to be Clanless. Please make use of this, but know that it will not allow you a Third Attribute to boost, because you are mistaken.

One handed seals: People getting one handed seals have to keep in mind that they do not equal instant casts, and that One handed seals take 50% longer to cast a jutsu. If you have a Ninjutsu or Elementalist main, this is reduced to 25% slower, since they master Hand seals much, much faster then others.
